You probably want to share some Christmas love with them as well. Aesthetic Christmas wallpapers and Christmas backgrounds are great in this regard! Use them to "fill your heart and devices with the joy and gladness of reindeers, candy canes, gingerbread men, and mistletoe."
The purpose of this post is to share with you some good places where you can search for and access free Christmas wallpapers and Christmas backgrounds to use on your phone and desktop. I know there are several other platforms that provide these resources but I only featured those I believe are reliable and student friendly. Most of these platforms are included in my list of the best sources of free images to use for educational purposes.
1. Christmas wallpapers, Pixabay
Pixabay has over 1000 high resolution Christmas wallpapers and Christmas background photos for phones and desktops. You can browse through the collection of Christmas photos and pick the one you like. You can search Christmas wallpapers by color, size, published date, and orientation. Once you find the wallpaper you are interested in click to download it. No sign up is required and although Pixabay does not require attribution I encourage you to add attributions to help artists and photographers in their work.2. Christmas wallpapers, Unsplash
Unsplash is another good platform that offers royalty-free images. Unsplash has this interesting collection of beautiful and free Christmas wallpapers that you can use on your phone and desktop screen. Simply browse through the collection of wallpapers, click on the one you like, then tap on fee download. As is the case with Pixabay, Unsplash photos are free to use, and although it is not required, always make sure that you and your students give proper credit to the photographers as a way to say thanks to the creators of the artwork you are using. You can credit the owner of the photo by including a direct link to the photo URL or by including g a link to their public profile on Unsplash.3. Christmas wallpapers, Pexels
Pexels offers tons of aesthetic Christmas wallpaper backgrounds to use on your devices, mobile and desktop. There are over 60.000 Christmas photos to choose from. No sign up is required to access these materials but having an account offers more features including the ability to create collections where you can save your favorites photos and artwork.4. Christmas wallpapers, Adobe Stock
Adobe Stock features over 2000 aesthetic Christmas wallpaper and Christmas backgrounds that you can use on your phone and desktop. It also allows you to use its own editor to resize and customize the photos the way you want. Unlike the previous platforms, Adobe Stock does charge for using its images. It has two types of licenses: a standard license which is free with trial and an extended license which costs $79.99. Upon your registration, Adobe stock offers 10 free images. It also enables you to create your own library, add photos, access vector and JPEG files and many more.
