Today as I was searching the web for AR resources I came across this excellent guide from Apple titled Augmented Reality in Education. It is an 11 pages PDF packed full of interesting tips, apps, and ideas to help you make the best of AR technology on your iPad. More specifically, the guide covers the importance of AR in learning, the different ways teachers can use AR on iPad, the reasons why iPad is a good mobile device to deliver immersive learning experiences through AR, and the last section features lesson ideas on the use of AR in your teaching.

In Lesson Ideas, you will explore the different AR apps you can use for various school subjects. For instance, for Science you will learn about how to use Froggipedia to study a living frog in AR. For Math, you will learn about how to use GeoGebra AR to 'introduce the z-axis and help students explore 3D shapes and equations'. For Literacy and Literature, you will get introduced to the AR Mkr app and learn how students can use it to 'bring their own creativity and drawings into an interactive setting for storytelling'.

Augmented Reality in Education also provides important tips to help you and your students make the best of AR apps on your iPad. For instance, you will learn about tips related to lighting, motion, surfaces, and screen recording. Although the guide was published in 2018, the tips and ideas it provides are timeless and can work with any device whether it is iPad or not. Also, I checked the links of the apps featured in this guide and they are all still working.
