VirtualNerd is another great math resource for teachers and students. that I am adding to our Math section here in ETML. It features tons of instructional videos with a focus on middle school and high school mathematics. More specifically, the site's library contains over 1500 video lessons covering middles grades math though Algebra 2. VirtualNerd features five main courses: Grades 6-8 math, pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry. Each of these tutorials contain lessons organized by topic.

Teachers can also search for video lessons that are aligned with common core, Texas standards, SAT math, or ACT math. Each video lesson is accompanied by an explanatory note and further reinforcing videos. You may want to spend some time going through the resources there and see what works for you.

The story behind VirtualNerd, according its authors,  started in early 2008 when "an expert tutor and a designer began exploring the use of interconnected instructional videos to help confused math students. Acquired by Savvas in mid 2013, Virtual Nerd's technology and expansive library of instructional content is now available to millions of teachers and students around the world."
