Open Education Resources (OER) Commons is a platform that provides open access to a wide variety of open educational resources that are either in the public domain or are licensed under Creative Commons.  These resources include things such as :’ full courses, course materials, modules, textbooks, streaming videos, tests, software, and any other tools, materials, or techniques used to support access to knowledge.’

Teachers can re-use  and adapt these instructional resources their own teaching situations and according to the learning needs of their students. The site also provides tools to allow educators to contribute their own educational materials . To this end, you can use Open Author to create media rich documents, Lesson Builder to create interactive lessons, or Module Builder to design interactive modules. OER Commons has an internal search functionality that allows you to easily locate any resource you want. You can refine your search by subject, grade level and standards.
