Using selected hands-on activities, students will get to collaboratively work on challenging games and puzzles and will make use of a wide variety of materials such as crayons, stings and cards. “The activities introduce students to Computational Thinking through concepts such as binary numbers, algorithms and data compression, separated from the distractions and technical details of having to use computers. Importantly, no programming is required to engage with these ideas!”
The activities are suitable for different age groups. Some of them come with a number of illustrative videos introducing kids to various concepts in computational thinking.
