Over the last few years we have reviewed an increasing number of apps for students with special needs (check out our popular chart to see some examples). But the resource we have for you today is way beyond any work we have published here so far. This is a comprehensive list which contains 1000 apps for learners with special needs. The list which is compiled by the folks in a4cwsn, is a fruit of a collaborative work between a large body of professionals including: speech education teachers, speech language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, music therapists, guidance councillors and social workers, sign language interpreters and many more.
Although the lists lack in organizational categories to facilitate browsing and searching but still this work is really amazing and is definitely worth bookmarking. If you are a teacher, therapist or a parent of a student with special needs or you know somebody who deals with children with special needs, please make sure you share with them this resource.
