Awesome Screenshot is a great screen capture tool for teachers. We have already reviewed it in previous posts here in EdTech and mLearning. Today we are revisiting it again because it has added some really cool new features. The one we like the most is its integration with Google Drive. You can easily save your screenshots to your Google Drive and use them in your docs or sheets. Also many of the premium features are now free and there is no longer any in-app purchases. You can now store your annotated screenshot to Awesome Screenshot website and get a sharable link with no time limit. Free desktop capture is also supported.
As for those of you who are not familiar with Awesome Screenshot, this is a Chrome extension you can use to capture all or various parts of your screen. It lets you edit your screenshots the way you want. You can add comments, annotations, lines and arrows, blur sensitive information, copy and paste your screenshot into Gmail, Twitter, Facebook and many more.
