1- Vision: Great school leaders are visionaries who actively participate in shaping future events.

2- Courage: Great school leaders are trail blazers who have what it takes to try out new ideas and go the untrodden path.

3- Passion: Great school leaders are  passionate about their work and are wholeheartedly committed to students, staff and their school communities.

4- Intelligence: As Sean puts it, great school leaders "are team-builders. They understand the importance of relationships. They empower their staff and students and show empathy for all."

5- Judgement: Great school leaders take a collaborative and community-driven approach to decision making. They value the contributions of others and make wise decisions.

6- Resilience: Great school leaders show unwavering sense of leadership by nurturing traits of resilience, determination, perseverance, and confidence. 

7- Persuasion: Great school leaders are great communicators. They have the required discursive skills to motivate and persuade listeners. 

8- Curiosity: Great school leaders are also lifelong learners and have an unsatiated desire to learn more and  make new connections.
