Project based learning is a student-centered approach that seeks to boost students learning through the use of academically rich projects. At the core of PBL is the idea that hands-on projects that span a prolonged period of time in which students are tasked with finding solutions to real world challenges motivates students to take responsibility of their own learning and fosters their sense of self-directed learning. PBL Works is a great  resource full of tips, ideas, hanbooks and many other materials to help you teach using PBL.

Edutopia

 Edutopia features a wide variety of materials including tutorials, blog posts, visuals, and studies on PBL. It also provides several videos showing successful implementation of PBL in different schools.


PBL Checklists

PBL Checklists offers customizable project checklists for written reports, multimedia projects, oral presentations, and science projects. The use of these checklists keeps students on track and allows them to take responsibility for their own learning through peer- and self-evaluation.
