Below are some of the best social bookmarking tools for teachers . Check them out and let us know if you have other suggestions. Enjoy
1- Pinterest
Pinterest is a hybrid of both content curation and social bookmarking. It is a platform that enables users to visually bookmark digital content and share it with others. Through creating and sharing boards with others, users get to discuss, access, and collaborate on curating resources relevant to their interest. When on Pinterest don't forget to check and follow the official board of this blog.
2- Learnist
I am not really a huge fan of this platform. Learnist is a little bit similar to Pinterest in that it focuses on visuals in bookmarking and has also boards for bookmarked content.
3- Diigo
This is another great social bookmarking web tool for teachers. It is probably the quintessence of the concept social bookmarking. using Diigo, you get to bookmark content into lists that can be accessed by others. You can also access bookamrks of others and tag them into different categories.
4- Educlipper
This more focused on content curation, Educlipper allows you to bookmark sites, share files, and discuss them with others. You can create an Educlipper board and invite others to visit it and share comments on the content curated in it. Educlipper is ideal for classroom usage.
