Best Websites to Download Lesson Plans

Lesson planning is an important part of our work as teachers and educators. We design lesson plans to help us with the organization of our teachable content and to optimize our students learning. As I argued elsewhere, the anatomy of a good and effective lesson plan includes elements such as introduction (covers goals and objectives, topic of the lesson, duration, overview) body (covers teachable content), procedural section (covers teaching strategies and materials needed), assessment (covers activities that check for students understanding such as quizzes, exit tickets, questionnaires, etc), and closure (wraps up the whole lesson).
