Below is a collection of search engines I curated specifically for students. While these tools offer a wide variety of safety measures to ensure an optimal browsing experience for learners, there is no single tool that is completely safe to use especially with young learners. There are always risks connected to privacy issues and confidentiality. With this caveat aside, check out the list below and share with us your feedback.

Ads-free Search Engines

1- Kidtopia 
‘Kidtopia is a Google custom student safe search engine for preschool and elementary students, indexing only educator approved websites.’

2- Kid’s Search Engine

GoGooligans is another kid search engine that provides a number of important features including: use Google index to retrieve results, apply  different kinds of filtering features, excludes inappropriate sites and keywords, offers search in over 30 languages and many more.

7- KidRex
